The origins of the Marvel film renaissance were simultaneously humble and bold. After X-Men (Snark Knights #18!), join us as we cover the other catalyst for the modern superhero film era: Sam Raimi’s Willem Dafoe! Err, Spider-Man! Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man. Starring Willem Dafoe.

This movie has aged really well thanks to a great cast, sharp story, and lots of charm. It has a legacy that is still seen in today’s Spider-Man films. And the legacy of J.K. Simmons utterly owning, in perpetuity, the role of JJ Jameson. But there’s so much more to love about this film so join us as we do our best to do it justice.
